The Anam Cara House project is a cause close to APCO’s heart. We’ve proudly advocated for and donated to this incredible facility alongside dozens of Geelong businesses and community members who share its vision. Our community desperately needs its dignified end-of-life care services and a $3.5 million contribution from the State Government is a small ask in the context of its overall budget. This funding would provide significant relief and secure Anam Cara House’s long-term sustainability.
Despite widespread recognition of its benefits, the Victorian State Government has yet to commit these vital funds. This facility - built by Geelong for Geelong - will not only add beds to our public health system but also ease pressure on existing services through an innovative public-private partnership.

Please read our open letter to the State Government below.
After four years of rejected requests, we ask the Victorian Government to stand with our community.
